Our teams for our next trips to Cambodia are about to be selected. We are sending a six member Women's team in October with our larger team heading off in the New Year. Applications have now closed and we will be announcing the two teams in a few weeks.

Mission team report - 2011

Our link with Cambodia.
In January and February 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 a team traveled to Cambodia to work with local and international humanitarian agencies. The team worked with Samaritan’s Purse, International Teams, Asia’s Hope, Daughters of Cambodia and the Gospel Commission Fellowship Church.

Team member raised their own airfare and travel costs. Our third trip was completed on 20th January and we're now planning our 2012 trip.

Our recent team continued connections that were established in 2009 and 2010 and were able to engage in a range of varying projects including the following:

* Provision of bio sand water filters for Cambodian rural villages

• * Taking 150 children from Asia's Hope orphanage to a Water Park.

• * On-going maintenance of a computer lab supplied in 2010 for the Shalom School that cares for Vietnamese children during the day.

• * The training of counsellors at the Child Safe Zone inside the ‘internally
     displaced persons’ camp.

• * Support for family and youth camps which aim to teach family values
